7 AHSAA Football Teams Make Final Top 300 High School Football America Rankings

St. John Bosco (California) edged-out Miami Central (Florida) for the 2022 High School Football America national championship. It’s the second time that the Braves have been our national champ. They also won the title in 2019.


Seven AHSAA football teams finished in the Top 300 rankings. 7A state champion Thompson (11-3) was the highest ranked Alabama team at #36. Also ranked by High School Football America were 7A runner up Auburn (12-2) at #55, Hoover (11-2) at #60, Hewitt Trussville (8-4) at #102, 6A champion Saraland (14-1) at #213, Clay Chalkville (8-2) at # 257, and Theodore (13-1) at #286.
