Elkmont High School has named Duane Wales as its new head football coach. Coach Wales has been a member of the varsity staff since 2009 and the last two seasons served as the middle school coach as well.
Coach Wales is a graduate of Elkmont High School and previously spent 10 seasons as defensive coordinator at Clements High School. He then spent six seasons as defensive coordinator/special teams coach at Ardmore before returning to Elkmont. Coach Wales will be in the midst of a rebuilding job as the Red Devils went 0-10 in 2016.
